Ninja Raiden Revenge is a fun 2D platformer that's aesthetically inspired by the classic Limbo, with the action in this case developing in the always interesting fantasy folklore of feudal Japan.
The premise in Ninja Raiden Revenge is very simple: you play a ninja tasked with the mission of stopping the Apocalypse. Armed solely with a katana and a set of shurikens, you've got to cross bamboo forests, legendary temples, and desolate cities in search of Orochi, a giant eight-headed snake that after waking up from a 1000-year doze has started to destroy everything in its path.
Ninja Raiden Revenge has very similar gameplays to the ones from practically any platformer for smartphones: you move from left to right tapping the direction arrows and jump up to twice in a row. Ninja Raiden Revenge has a progress system that gives the game a truly interesting depth: unlock new and powerful skills for your characters.
The difficulty in Ninja Raiden Revenge increases exponentially as you dig into the jaws of your enemy and even veteran players will find the platforming in this game a worthy challenge.
